In or Out

Input vs Output force
When using simple machines to do your work which is always going to be higher you input or our output force and why?

The energy that you transfer to the machine is more than the amount of energy the machine transfers to the object. It would be more because energy cannot be created or destroyed. Also that means the input is more than the output.

The energy that you put into the machine is more then the amount of energy the machine puts out on the object. It would be like that because energy cannot be created or destroyed so it would be less for the output then the input.

When you do work on the machine, your transfer energy to the machine. When the machine does work on an object, energy is transfered from the machine to the object. Because energy cannot be created or destoyed, the amount of energy the machine trasfers to the object cannot be greater than the amount of energy you transfter to the machine.

The energy that you transfer to the machine is more than the amount of energy that the machine transfers to the object. Energy can not be created or destroyed so it would be more, or that the input is greater than the output is on the object.

When you use a machine, you put in more energy than what goes through to the object. It is like that because energy cannot be created or destroyed and friction takes away some of the energy going into the machine. So the input force would always be higher than the output force unless there was no friction, then they would be the same.

The input energy is going to be higher. The machine is using some of the energy that is being put in. So the output has less energy than the input had.
