Nonrenewable Resources
Why do you think our courntry uses so many nonrenewable resources? What is one thing that you think that everyone one could do to help save on the use of these nonrenewable resources?
I think that we use them because we havent made very many ways not to yet. It is much easier to go get gas car than to go get a hybrid. Also when you buy houses most of them dont have energy efficient appliances so it is easier just to not use them. I think that one thing that you could to would be to get more efficient cars that would get better mileage which would not waste as much gas.
we need to get energy and we do not have enough green energy to go around for the amount of people we have compared to energy. But with new technology we have enough enough energy to go around
I think we do because we havent found out some that are renewable or some people dont know (or care) what the effects of. We could not use so much gasoline and natural gas by driving less or getting vehicles that are more efficient.
We use so many because we have alot of them and we really dont want to spend more money on anything else. One easy thing that we could do is use more effiecient light bulbs. Those flurlecent light bulbs use half as much energy and are way better. That would greatly reduce energy emmissoins.

I think that we use them so much because we dont have anything else to use. We dont have the equipment that doesnt use just renewable resources yet. We do have some that can run on both non and renewable resources. I think that we could conserve oil and not drive unless neccesary. We could walk or ride bike.
I think that we use so much nonrenewable resources because we are trying to reduce the use of things and stop polluting the earth and recycling. Some things that everybody could do to help sace the use of these nonrenewable recources is to use energy efficient cars that wouldnt waste as much gas. We could also drive less and ride bikes.
I think we use so many nonrenewable sources because we have a lot of factories, businesses, people, etc. We make a lot of things that use nonrenwable sources. Also, we have a lot of technology. We have ways to not use nonrenawable sources, but it is going to take a while to completely change to them. We should try to get there, and not drive as much.
i think we use them because they seem to be the most efficient source of energy. If they can get a car to go faster and longer with gasoline then why would they want to use something else. Ya it hurts the enviroment but i think people are more focused on getting the job done and when it comes down to that, they use what ever works

Becuase our country is full of wimps. We think we need new stuff when we can use our other old things and it will work just fine. WE could get more efficent cars and recycle our food and it will be a little nasty but it all goes in the same spot.

I think that the reason that we use so many nonrenewable recources b/c we havent spent enough time on finding different alternative fuels. The main thing that any person in the country can do to help save the uses of these fuels, is that they can just stop driving when its unneccesary. If its a relatively short distance, then people can just try to ride your bike more or walk more.
