Energy is related to magnets because magnets use energy to do things. Magnetic fields and magnetic domains and everything else uses energy to do what they are supposed to do. They work together for just that purpose, to function properly. I'm not sure how they came up with this theory but magnets have been a very useful too for lots of people throughout their life.
Some magnets, such as electromagnets, are used to create electricity. The magnetic charges are converted into electrical charges, & vise versa, by using machines such as generators & electric motors. Im not really sure how we exactly came up w/ this theory though, so ya.

You can make electromagnets by using electricity with magnets. I dont' know how they came up with the theory of using electricity with magnets.
