Chemical vs. Physical

What is the difference between physical and chemical changes in science? Are they the same or do they differ some how, explain?

Chemical changes occur when one substnace is changed into another. Physical changes occur when one substance changes shape, size or state of matter, but the identity substance still remains the same.

physical canges probably would accure when one substance probably changes it would change the size or the state of matter but its stubstance pretty much stays the same. and chemical cahnges occur probably when one suctance would probably change in a different substnce. yeah thats about what i think.

Physical changes is something that you can see happen. An example would be paper. If you keep riping it, it will always be paper. Chemical changes happen that you can't see. An example would be fire.

physical change is a process in which the basic chemical identity of the substances is unchanged. a good example is heating water to its boiling point. chemical change is a change that results in the formation of a new substance. an example is burning wood. yeah they are different. they are different because in a chemical change you can see it change like burning paper. but in a physical change you cant really notice it as much.

physical changes are when the object changes like shape or size or even the state of matter but the identity is the same. Chemical changes are when one substance changes into another one.

Physical cahnges come when there is one substance that changes its state of matter. It also depends on the size and th substance will still renain the same. Then chemical changes happen when there is one substance changed into another. So no they are not the same because they they both do something different

Physical changes only change the appearence of something. Chemical changes occur when something iss turned into smething else completely. Physical changes are like when you rip a piece of paper in half. A chemical change example is like when oranges are turned into orange juice.

Well, physical changes are when the physical form, color, or shape changes. The chemical changes are when like the molecules change inside the formula. If a molecule changes in the formula, it changes the whole element.

Chemical changes are when metal gets rust on it or when somthing changes into something else, A physicak change is wqhen something changes size ot shape like when paper starts on fire.

A physical change is where you change the appearence of the sunstance but it is still the same sunstance. A chemical change is where you change the substance completely. An examle of physical changes are like riping paper, or cutting your hair. An example of chemical changes are like rusting nails, and rotting eggs.

Physical and chemical changes are different. A physical change doesn't change the substance, it changes the form of the substance. A chemical change forms a new substance and either gives off or absorbs energy.

Physical change is when a substance is changed into another. A physical change is just when it changes size or shape, and in a physical change after it is changed it is still the exact same substance just in a different form.

Physical change occures when shape, size, and matter change. Like when you rip paper. While when the a chemical change happens something in the formula changes like an element or how ever many atoms or something like that. LIke when you burn something it takes all the carbon dioxide.
