Math

Why do we have to do story problems? Why can't we do something that is easier? Do you wish that science was more like math, where everything is given?

We do story problems to understand how to figure out certain things in math sort of way. We do this so it helps with science and to help us with math. I don't wish science was more like math. I really enjoy science and I wouldn't want to be distance from it.

We have to do science story problems to figure out science things like we figure out math. It helps us get better at both math and science. I dont want science to be like math because math isnt my favorite thing to do.

We do story problems because that is how we figure out long science problems. There is no easier way unless we type it on google or something, but then you aren't really figuring it out. I like science the way it is...although a lot of the time i get very confused! :)

Story problems make you think in different ways than regular number problems. They also put you in real-life situations. If you don't do things that are hard, then less things will be easy. I come to science to learn about science, so no, I like to learn about science in science class the scientific way. And I like to learn about math in math class the mathematical way.

I think that we have to do science problems b/c it gets your mind going and you have to think about the problem. It helps you with your math when you plug things in. We shouldnt do anything easier b/c we have to learn harder things to get prepared for what might come in our future classes. YES I wish everything was more like math, jsut because I like to figure out equasions.

we do story promblems so we understand the prombem and why the answer is what it is. because it is good to challangge your self. no i wish it will stay the same because it is alot funner than math.

we have story problems to understand an experiments and other science things. we cant do some thing that is much easier because most of the problems are with math. and i dont want math to be like math. i like math and science but i dont think that they should be alike

we do story problems because we have to understand how math is part of everything. in science we have to know how to do them because we do equations that have to do with numbers and we have to know how to do math so we can figure out the problems. we cant do something easier because if we keep doing easy stuff were never going to get better at our math and we have to figure out way harder things in life. no i dont wish science was more like math. because thats why we have math class one hour and science another hour.

we do story problems to learm how to use the scientific method and annalyze the situation on your own. With that you will learn how to solve problems in life by learnind how to solve thay story problem. No, idont wish science was like math, because i like to solve thin ngs the way i do in science and if evryhting was given what is the true point of learning the situation if in life it wont be given.

Well you have to do story problems to figure out the science problem just like you would have to figure out math or anything else. yeah i would want science to be like math because i do like math and it is fun!

Story Problems put things in a situation where you have to get the information. It helps us to get the information ourselves without someone just telling us. We have to pull it out of the problem.I wouldn't want math like problems because story problems are pretty easy and i wouldnt' want math problems. I don't like math very much science is way better!

We do story problems so that we can do science problem using math. I do wish science was more like math. I really enjoyed our last assignment and did okay on it. I thought it was really fun.

Story problems usually give more information and detail. easier problems may not give as many details to help u solve the problem. well, no not really. i like having like just math and just science. i dont like combining them to where there is math in science class. i like just learning about htings in science and not doing any math because math should be done 5th hour. haha

It makes us think and put things into a real world senario. We have to apply math to science problems. If science was more like math, it wouldnt be science. That is like wishing for an apple to be an orange. It is just a different type of work.

We do story problems so we have to find the problem, and then answer the problem. It also helps understand why we are doing the problem. Math isn't my favorite class, and I don't think i'd want to do more than one math class in a day.

We do story problems to get our brains pumping and to think hard. No because one math class for me is enough. But when everything is given to you, you can solve it better.
