I picked Silicon. It is fun to say and I've heard the word used in regular conversations, so it is obviously used a lot in our life. I found out that it's atomic number is 14. Woohoo. I also found out that, when in certain forms, it can help form glass, concrete, or brick.

I picked the element Potassium. Its symbol is K. Potassium is fouind in bananas! One of its uses is to keep the kidneys functioning normally. It is also used to prevent strokes, asthma, high blood pressure, and osteoperosis. There is such thing as having too much potassium and too little. Drinking coffe and alcohol cause more potassium to be disposed from the urine.
