an acid is a substance that produces hydrogen ions in a water solution. a base is any substance that forms hydroxide ions in a water solution.

An acid has a surplus of hydrogen ions to a solution. A base contributes asurplus of hydroxide ions to a solution. The ph level is also different.

An acid is a substance that produces hudrogen ions in a water solution. A base is any substance that forms hydroxide ions in a water solution.

An acid is a substance that produces hydrogenions in a water solution. It is the ability to produce these ions that gives acids their characteristic properties. A base is any substance that forms hydroxide ions, Oh-, in a water solution.

An acid produces hydrogen ions in a water solution. A base forms hydroxide ions in a water solution. They are opposites and will neutralize each other if equally combined. You can measure them in pH.

Acids have corrisive properties a good example would be vinegar. Bases counteract acids a good expamle is milk.

Well there is a difference and an acid is a substance that produces hyddrogen inos in a water soulution. It is the ability to produce theses ions that gives acids in a water solution. A base is any substance that forms hydrocide ions, or it is also a water solution. is any substance that accepts hydrogen+ from acids.

Acid is more corrosive than a base bases are more used for as laundry detergents. Acids are used to polish certain valuable minerals but acid will deterriate more off a substance than a base. PH level measures how acidic or basic a substance, or liquid is.

Well hix, an acid is a substance that produces hydrogen ions on a water solution. They get their characteristic properties from the ability to produce these ions. A base is anything that forms hydroxide ions in a water solution. They are different in those ways.

an acid is a substance that can hurt you because it proudces hydrogen ions in a water solution, and a base is any substance pretty much

and acid is more acidic on a ph strip and a base is less acidic on a ph strip. and an acid is like a zero in a ph scale, and a base is like a 14.

An acis will produce hydrogen ions if it is in a water solution. A base produces hydroxide ions in a water solution. An acis has a PH level below 7 and a base has a PH level above 7. 7 is neutral.

an acid is a subject that produces hydrogen inons in a water solution. has the abilities to produce these ions that gives acids their characteristic properties. Any substrance that forms hydroxide inons, OH , in a water solution is a base.

Well the differences in between acid and base are to do with the ph scale. And acid is acidic while a base is anything to do with hydroxide ions.
