Measuring Specific Heat
What is used to measure specific heat of an object? What are the steps that are to be able to measure the specific heat? If this something that you can use to help measure specific heat of an object at home, why?
A calorimeter is used to measure specific heat. You could use this object at home because you could see the different specific heats of an object, like stuff you are building with or using other objects. You can also use it to make sure you dont wreck anything you own. I am not sure what the steps are.
You use a calormeter to measure the specific heat of an object. You measure the temperature and that is how you find the specific heat. You can use it at homes but why would you want to find the specific heat of something. That and it would be really hard to do.
Calorimeters are used to measure specific heat. What we did is put the thing in the middle container, put water in the outer container, and then put it on the burner. After the water boiled we checked the temperature of the thing. I guess we could use it at home to find specific heats of things. But I don't see why you would want to. Just use the same steps; you can even use plastic cups.

well you could use a calorimeter to measure it. it can be used at home and you can just use that and it will do some of there stuff.
