I learned about the one of the three areas called metals. I learned that they have to be ductile, malleable, and has to reflect light to be a meltal. It should also be a good conductor of electricity.
well i really dont know bc i wasnt here yesterday. But i do know that they elements are put in to groups which are metals, nonmetals, and metalloid.
I learned that all of the elements are in groups. The elements can be metals, nonmetals, or metalloids. The metal group is the largest.
i learned that a lot of elements have ways of being related to metal in someway and some elements form toghether to make stuff like steel
I have learned that some of the coinage metals aren't used in coins anymore. Also that some elements are used in fireworks. Some of the copper wiring on service trucks were stolen when they were fixing power lines.
I learned yesterday from the notes that there are many categories that metal fall into, some of them are that they are malleable and ductile. They are good conductors of electricity, and most of them many of us are very familiar with, like copper, silver, and gold.
I learned that the areas of metals are ductile, malleable and they all reflect off a light for it to be a metal.
i learned that elements are in groups. i also learned about metals and different types of metals. also about transition elements.
Some elements are used to show colors in fireworks. Also, some react violently with oxygen and water. Therefore, there are stored in oil so they cannot react until they are needed.
I learned about the uses of copper, gold and silver and y they are not used anymore, and i learned that some people steel copper from trucks that go down to other countries because it is worth something.

I learned quite a bit. I learnerd about the different elements and what they go into like there groups. I learned about coinage and the different things that is in there group. I learned about differnt metals and how they are good or bad conuctors and things. I lerned a lot a bout metals and how they are shiny, reflect to light, that they are malleauble, and ductile, and that they are a good conductor of heat and electricity.

Well i learned a lot of different things from Miss Hix's great lesson yesterday! There is to many to just simplify it down to one... so i learned about the elements and their groups and why they are in diffent groups and what makes them different and all that good suff!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS AMMMMMMMMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
I learned that most elements bond in different ways and that they are split into metals, nonmetals, and metalloids. Most elements are metals though.
That they have many uses! I thought the really cool ones was the coinage group. I didnt know that they were a group, but i did know that they used to be coins. But it got expensive to make the coin more than the coins worth, so yeah. I also thought it was cool that they use magnesium and strontium in fireworks for different colors.
i learned about metals and how tasks can be performed with them. How they can be used and simply what they are made. How they conduct heat and electricity. They are used in sheets and in wiring for homes/buildings.
Ilearned that all elements are in groups. that metals have to be ductile and mallable to be counted as metals. metals are also good conductors of heat and electricity.
I learned that there are actinos and lanthanoids. I also found out there are metals, metalloids, and nonmetals. I also leared that a radioactive element is one in which the nucleus breaks down and gives off particles and energy.
