Polyatomic ions are positively charged, covalently bonded group of atoms. They contain two or more elements. They have formulas and mostly negative charges.

A polyatomic ion is a positively or nagatively charged, covalently bonded group of atoms. You can use this in chemistry to name compounds. You can also use this to write formulas.

it is an ion that contains more than a single element. they are charged particles which are usually negativ made up of groups of atoms bonded together. thats how they are used in chemistry.

Polyatomic ions have a positive charge, and they are a group of atoms that are covalently bonded together. They are made up of 2 or more elements. They all include chemical formulas and have mostly negative charges.

Polyatomic ions are positively or negatively charges covalent bonded groups of atoms. They have a bunch of formulas that make up the binary ionic compounds. There are some like carbonate and acetate. The polyatomic ion in baking soda is the hydrogen carbonate ion. So yeah, they are used alot. As a whole, they contain 2 or more elements.
