An ionic bond is the force of attraction between opposite charges of the ions in an ionic compound. In an ionic bond, a transfer of electrons takes place. A covalent bond is an attraction that forms between atoms when they share electrons.

Well, one is ionic and one is covalent. However, if you want to get more technical, a covalent bond shares the electrons. An ionic bond attracts the opposite charges of ions in an ionic compound. Yeah, pretty cool, huh?

an ionic bond is the force of attraction between the opposite charges of an ion. covalent bonds are a bond between two elements from the same side of the table.

In an ionic bond, one atom will steal electrons from the other one. A covalent bond shares electrons. Ions form ionic bonds. Both are bonds between atoms.

Well they are different. an ionic bond is the force of attraction between the opposite charges of the ion in an ionic compound. While the covalent bond is the attraction that forms between atoms when they share electrons.

Well, an ionic bond is when there is a force of attraction of the ions in an ionic compound, electrons are transfered, they get stolen basicly. Covalent bonds share electrons.

A covalent bond is an attraction formed between atoms when they share electrons. An ionic bond is an attraction formed between oppositely chardes ions in an ionic compound.

a ionic bond is the force of traction between charges and combine in a compound and a covalent bond is a traction that forms betwenn atoms when they share their electrons.

There is a differece because an ionic bond is something that is the force of attraction between its opposite charges of the ions in the ionic compound. Then a covalent bond is something that shares electrons and it is a type of attraction.

Ionic bonds and covalent bonds. Covalent bonds share the electrons while the ionic bond steal the electrons and binds them together.

ionic bonds steal and covalent bonds share.

A covalents bond is an attraction that forms between atoms when they share electrons. An ionic bond attracts the opposite charges of ions in an ionic compound. Yeah, thats the major difference between those two bonds.

Ionic bonds are bonds that steal electrons. Covalent bonds are bonds that share electrons. From covalent bonding, a neutral particle forms from a result of sharing electrons. It is called a molecule.

Well if one was to tell the difference between these two things then one would have to have to day that an ionic bond is the force of attraction between oppisite charges of the ions. And in a covalent bond it has an attraction that forms between atoms when they share electrons! and what not.

Covalent bonds are one or more pairs of electrons shared by two atoms. An ionic bond removes electrons from one atom and attached to another.

The difference is that Ionic bonds steal electrons and a covalent bond shares them. Ionic bonds like to bond with the negatives and a positive. The covalent bond like to bond with the ones that are closest to them. Yeah, it makes alot of sense now!
